Win Black is a digital campaign initiative focused on combating disinformation and mobilizing Black voters across the U.S. The effort was launched as a direct response to coordinated attempts to suppress and misinform the Black vote, particularly online. With a mission rooted in truth-telling and empowerment, the campaign aimed to cut through noise on social platforms and reach Black audiences, especially Black men, with messages that felt culturally authentic and trustworthy.
The branding drew inspiration from the flashiness and bling era of late '90s and early 2000s hip-hop and music video, a time known for its bold visuals, high energy, and larger-than-life style. This aesthetic direction was intentionally chosen to create an immediate cultural connection and deliver political messaging in a form that felt familiar, engaging, and unapologetically Black. The visual identity combined nostalgia with edge, helping the campaign stand out in crowded digital feeds while speaking directly to the values, humor, and pride of its core audience.
